What is AdBlue?
AdBlue is a biodegradable, colorless aqueous solution consisting of 32.5% high-purity urea and 67.5% deionized water (ISO 22241), synthetically produced from ammonia and CO2. It converts 85% of NOx into harmless nitrogen and water vapor and through SCR technology significantly reduces air pollution. It is non-flammable, non-explosive, harmless to the environment, and is classified as a low-risk product as a transportable liquid. It is mainly used in heavy vehicles with SCR technology and diesel passenger vehicles.
